BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB: Please see the flyer in front of the office about the Boys and Girls Club.
YEARBOOKS: Hey Jenifer Burros! It's time for a yearbook sales update! So far, we have sold 148 yearbooks altogether. 57 yearbooks in eighth grade 50 yearbooks in seventh grade And 41 yearbooks in sixth grade. If you want your grade to win the competition and vote on a reward together, be sure to buy those yearbooks by January 9th!
FILL THE BUS: Our Canned Food Drive December 8th - 19th. The classroom that brings in the most food items will receive their choice of a donut or pizza party after the break. To be eligible, your class must bring in at least 200 canned food items. The classes that bring in the 2nd most amount of food items will receive a class Donut Party. To be eligible, your class must bring in at least 200 canned food items. Let's show our generosity for our community and help support our local food bank.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: There will be an open gym for girls basketball 12/16, 12/17 and 12/18 form 3-4:30. Tryouts will be in the JMS gym from 1/5-1/7 - all girls will make either a varsity team or a JV team! 7th grade 3:00-4:30 8th grade 4:30-6:00
CHRISTMAS SPIRIT WEEK: Spirit week is coming next week. As we prepare for the upcoming break let's go out with a little dress up fun. The days are as follows: Monday 15th – Pajama Day Tuesday 16th – Christmas Colors Day Wed 17th – Hawaiian Day Thurs. 18th – Christmas Hats, Headbands, and Socks Day Fri. 19th – Ugly Sweater Day
GIRLS BASKETBALL: For those interested in trying out for girls basketball, please stop by the office to fill out the sign up sheet and pick up information on how to create an online portal account. All athletes participating in JMS sports need to sign up digitally through our online athletic information systems platform: BigTeams. This will need to be done prior to the Christmas break.

STUDENTS: You must have your cell phone turned off and your earbuds/earphones removed before you enter the building. Your cell phone must be put in your locker. If you are seen using your cell phone, or with earbuds/headphones, they will be confiscated, and your parent or guardian will need to pick them up.
